I can remember four divisions and taking whippet to games wearing me flat cap .... not the whippet wearing me flat cap of course. Me wife would have tea on table when I got home and we would thrash the kids before we put 'em to bed

Fine by me.
I like even more the link to the story about Rangers and Celtic being vetoed in 2009, and Celtic's chairman saying in 2010 that it was inevitable that their influence in terms of the media would mean they eventually joined the Premier League.
Aint looking to great at the moment for them.

3 top leagues of 20 professional clubs
The other 40 clubs should be part time.
Ludicrous that players for the 61st best club in the country are full time professionals.

I quite like the sound of it but I don't really know much about the lower leagues. Premier League B teams in a league cup sounds like a cracking idea, I'd love West Ham's Dev team winning something like the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

20 club leagues makes sense with the fixture congestion. Although clubs lose money from four home fixtures I think it might get bigger gates with less fixtures.

Sven 9.05 totally agree about the regional point....I don't think even clubs in league 2 would object to it being regionalised....the travel costs must cripple some of those smaller clubs who are struggling to survive as it is..
Make life a bit easier on the fans and make it easier to get bigger crowds especially for midweek games.
